CX has evolved, and so should you.
Since our launch in 2012, ElevateCX® has always been about sharing wisdom and encouraging folks to pursue a career in customer experience, whether that’s in support, success, knowledge management, or product. Our community members and speakers are decision-makers in their industry, career support practitioners, thought leaders, Customer Support Managers, Directors of CX, Heads of Support, Customer Advocates, and even QA and Documentation Specialists. You’ll be in good company!
We offer a robust online community for topical conversation and peer-to-peer mentorship, and we work hard to ensure our attendees maintain authentic relationships beyond the mountain-top experience at our events. Twice a month, we offer live masterclasses with a rotating schedule of guests and topics, all relevant to current trends in customer experience. We also have a podcast because who doesn’t?
Our Conferences
We host two conferences per year and cap our attendance at 200 people to maintain a sense of community. We curate talks to include tactical advice alongside talks about human behavior, contemporary psychology, and career and personal growth. On top of all that, we schedule a lot of fun, social time to help you build authentic, valuable, lasting relationships with other CX leaders.
Our next conferences are:
Oct 24, 2025 NYC @ Second City
Oct 31, 2025 London @ Bounce Farringdon
Our Community
We are not a Microsoft Teams organization. Our vibrant community of CX leaders come together in Slack to discuss industry trends, get help and advice, share resources, and post job listings. We also have channels to discuss books, video games, tv and movies, and even a ttrpg group.
While our sponsor partners are also present in these discussions, we promise you'll never be sold to or have your info used without your ok.
Our Masterclasses
Join us live twice a month for a masterclass discussion on a variety of topics. From setting boundaries to Trust & Safety trends, we’re hitting all the hot topics in a casual, conversational way we know will be educational and engaging.
Our Podcast
We’ve recently relaunched the ElevateCX® podcast to include a roundtable of hosts: Sarah Hatter, Matt Dale, Colin Flanigan, Mat Patterson, Erica Clayton, Ashley Hayslett, and Stephanie Lundburg get together a couple times per month to chat about CX trends and feral hot topics.
FAQs with ElevateCX Founder Sarah Hatter
Who is ElevateCX for?
ElevateCX is for people who do the work of customer experience. Our core crew are CX leaders—managers, directors, VPs, heads of support—running teams of all sizes. But you’ll also find ambitious ICs, folks stepping into management, and even product or sales pros who want to collaborate with CX. If you care about building better customer and team experiences, you’ll fit right in.
Do I need to be a CX “expert” to join?
Nope. Expertise is great, but curiosity is required. Whether you’re just starting your career or leading a global team, you’ll find peers here who are figuring things out alongside you.
Can I join online?
Yes! We host virtual events, community discussions, and digital content throughout the year. Our online spaces are designed to be just as real and useful as our in-person gatherings, minus the travel. Get started by joining our vibrant Slack community today!
How do I speak at an event or become a podcast guest?
Raise your hand—we love new voices. If you’ve got a story, a lesson learned, or a hot take about CX, we want to hear it. You don’t need to be a seasoned speaker; Elevate is a safe stage to start. Sign up here to pitch a talk, panel, or podcast idea.
What’s the dress code at ElevateCX events?
Whatever makes you feel like yourself. You’ll see everything from hoodies to blazers. No need to suit up unless that’s your vibe—most of us are jeans-and-sneakers people. Comfort > corporate.
What happens at an ElevateCX event?
Think less “stuffy conference,” more “smart friends swapping notes.” You’ll hear talks, panels, and candid discussions on what’s actually working in CX (and what’s not). There’s always plenty of time for connection—whether that’s over coffee, a roundtable, or even a ping pong table. You’ll leave with ideas you can use immediately and a network of people who get it.
How do I become an ElevateCX Sponsor?
Our events and community run on strong partnerships. If your product, service, or tool helps CX teams thrive—whether that’s a help desk, AI solution, coaching program, or something brand-new—we want to team up. Sponsorship isn’t just logos on a slide, we co-create content, host sessions, and build real connections with practitioners that foster organic community growth. Learn more here and let’s talk.
